See What's NewGrade 8's Induction | 2025
Teachers, senior learners, and parents gathered to officially welcome the Grade 8s to Suncrest
The ceremony began with the introduction of our RCL Executive. Spectators, Assistants and Cheerleaders were awarded for their exceptional performance at the English inter-high, where Suncrest won the Spirit cup, with inspiring words from the principal, which reminded the learners that high school is not only about academics, but also about growth, friendships, and discovering their passions
The Grade 8 induction marks an important milestone in the life of our school. It is more than just a formal event, it is a tradition that symbolizes the official welcome of our newest learners into the heart of the school.
The ceremony was filled with warmth, encouragement and a sense of belonging, each class presented their special choreography. After dancing the grade 8’s would throw their name tags in a box, representing a fresh start for our learners.
As the Class of 2030 steps into this new phase, we look forward to watching them grow into confident, capable, and compassionate individuals. The ceremony is not just about tradition; it is about inspiring a generation to rise to their full potential.
Our recent interhouse sports competitions showcased the incredible talent, determination, and school spirit of our learners. The fields were filled with energy as athletes competed proudly for their houses, demonstrating not only skill but also teamwork and sportsmanship.
Several outstanding performers have now been selected to represent the school and the Sedibeng West district at the Gauteng Provicial Championships. We congratulate all the learners who have
qualified and wish them the very best as they carry our school’s colours with pride. Your hard work and dedication continue to inspire the entire school community.
